With Vipps youre able to:
Send and request money
Send gifts
View your account balance

If you're older than 15 years old you can also:
Pay a business
Pay in stores
Pay online
Pay bills
Settle expenses in a group
Signup for a mobile appscription

To use Vipps youll need:
A Norwegian national identity number or d-number
A Norwegian mobile number
A Norwegian bank account

If you're above 15 years old you'll also need:
BankID
A Norwegian payment card (Visa or MasterCard)
An email address

If you add a picture of yourself, its easier for others to see who you are - if you don't we'll give you a Vipps-emoji!

You can send up to 5000 kr for free. If you want to send more than 5000 kr the charge is 1% of the total amount. Sending gifts cost 5 kr, but are free for all vippsers under 15. There is no charge for receiving money, and sending money to a business or organisation is free no matter the amount. It is also free of charge to shop with Vipps online, pay in stores or pay bills.
