In order to be to participate in the panel, your main source for media needs to be at least one of the following:

1. A Sky set-top box;

2. A Virgin Tivo set-top box;

3. LG smart TV with embedded FreeView

VL collects real-time information on TV viewing and information on the online mobile activities of the users. This data enables advertisers to better target and measure the effectiveness of their TV ads.

Info on whether the TV is on or off
List of the Apps used on your mobile phone (name of app + time of usage)
List of Google searches done through the mobile phone

The VL app DOES NOT collect the following information
Contact Lists
Content of messages in apps (e.g. WhatsApp messages, SMSs )
