About this app:

Moana Rapa Nui is part of the Moana Series of the Polynesian Keyboard.
The keyboard has been specifically designed to meet the needs of users typing in Reʻo Rapa Nui or Easter Island language.

The characters used the most have been placed within easy reach of your fingertips while those used the least are located center-screen.

The keys are wide and thus very comfortable to type with.

The keyboard is also optimized for the Internet with a few web-friendly characters loca ted right on the main set of characters.

- LONG PRESS TO GET MACRONS
Users just need to make a longer pressure on a vowel to macronize it.

- NO BROWSING IN LIST OF CHARACTERS
Users no longer need to browse through a list of diacritical marks to get macronized vowels.

- APOSTROPHES LOCATED ON THE MAIN SET OF CHARACTERS
Huri Translations has integrated two apostrophes into the main set of characters of the Polynesian Keyboard so it's just faster and easier to type your text!

- VELAR NASAL CHARACTER Ŋ
We also customized Moana Rapa Nui to accommodate speakers who write with the phonetic symbol for the velar nasal sound [ ŋ ] instead of either the g or ng combination. The g character is also included in the keyboard.
