Say and Spell Flashcards brings Oxford University Pressâ Biff, Chip and Kipper in fun word games and flashcards designed to help children learn. It is an enjoyable way for children to practise reading high frequency words through playing games. This app contains in-built flashcards with common, high frequency words that children need to learn to recognise by sight. Some of the words are decodable, but the aim of the app is to get children re cognising and reading all the words quickly, without decoding them. This game focuses on saying and speaking to help learn words.

The 3 games are designed to help your child quickly recognise and read high frequency words, build reading confidence, whilst having fun at the same time! Memory Game helps identify spelling and spoken words through memorising words in a grid and matching words to corresponding images. Word Builder is a great way to build words, helping with spelling and reciting. Fishing is a fun way to identify the sound of words by selecting the spoken words. In addition to the games, the app has a mode where you can scroll through the entire card set to consolidate learning. You can also collect stickers to track your progress with the aim to unlock the rare stickers.
