Fishing Places App helps the fishermen store in their phone the info on the location of preferred fishing spots such as GEO location, time and day of fishing, method, type of baits, weather conditions, etc... Based on the above info, they can navigate latter in the map to the same locations. Navigation is visual and based on customized google maps. The app is featured also with functions of handling S.O.S requests and help responses. The issuer of the S.O.S request associates it with the desc ription of SOS situation, while other users can see on line such request (if within a zone of 200 km radius) , description, location, distance to the requester, can commit on providing help and then navigate to the help seeker. The requester can see in the map the boats around him, their data (tel number) and in case any boat commits to help, he can see online such commitment, and can see in the map the GEO position of the helping boat, its distance as well, track its navigation path and distance in the map. One use case of such app is related to the police and rescue authorities - being a user of such app, they can locate the boats/ships being under S.O.S conditions and rescue them. Users/Boats/Ships can be created and authenticated based on user name and password. The charging is based on one time fee paid when downloading the app and then a fee per transaction of map download (around 1USD/one map download - see Note1 below). A part of such fee is paid to Google for the Map service used. Send an email to [email protected], send a WApp message or call +355682020031 in order to receive instructions on how to top-up your account.
