Last Letter First Game Rules Last Letter First is a simple vocabulary game, but the possibilities for gameplay are en dless. Step 1: A player enters a word. Step 2: The next player then enters a word that starts with the last letter of the previous playerâs word. Step 3: The next player then enters a word that starts with the last letter of the previous playerâs word. â¦and this repeats until a player misspells or repeats an already played word. Points are calculated based on the points assigned to each letter of the word. When a player repeats or misspells a word, the player gets a strike. A playerâs game ends when they get 3 strikes and the last player in the game WINS. For example, - Player 1 enters the word âsailboatâ for X points. - Player 2 enters the word âtrumpetâ for Y points (âtrumpetâ starts with the last letter of âsailboatâ). - Player 3 enters the word âtraficâ which is misspelled so they get a strike. - Player 1 enters the word âtiresomeâ for Z points (âtiresomeâ starts with the last letter of âtrumpetâ). - Player 2 enters the word âexcellentâ for X points (âexcellentâ starts with the last letter of âtiresomeâ). - Player 3 enters the word âtickleâ for Y points (âtickleâ starts with the last letter of âexcellentâ). â¦ And the game goes on until two out of the three players get three strikes.
